I’ve
had my eye on this bad boy for a while now. Given that it’s still A/W season
and I’m a bit of a red lip girl, when I saw this in Lane Crawford, I just
couldn’t resist. Not really knowing if it would be worth the whopping great
price tag it was attached to, I took a chance and picked this in the shade 400
up and went home a happy and very excited bunny.
And
this product certainly did not disappoint. True to advertisement, this had a
velvety, matte finish. It is very blue-based red that is a little bit darker
than MAC’s Russian Red on me. It is completely opaque with one sweep on my lip.
I wore this baby for a barbeque I had at my friend’s house, and although I
needed a quick top up after I’ve been digging into some delicious ribs, it did
last a good seven hours, and eventually turned into a gorgeous stain. It wasn’t
drying at all and was extremely comfortable to wear.
I
couldn’t test the applicator in the store (‘cause that would be super
unsanitary) so I was a little bit intimidated by its long nib. However, it was
actually very easy to handle and I didn’t need a lip pencil either.
This
line of liquid lipstick comes in 12 different colours. Since I bought it in Hong
Kong, it set me back $260, and I believe it is sold for £25 in the UK. They are
a tad on the pricey side but trust me, red-lip lovers – you will not regret it.
Hugs and kisses,
Claire xoxo

Makes me want to grab one immediately but their products are so expensive. The colour looks amazing on you.
